While I understand what Twitter is and what it does, I don't "get" why people are so enamored with this tool. I still cannot wrap my head around how this would be more helpful that other tools in either the personal professional learning. I've had a Twitter account for over a year now and rarely check it. I keep up with the people that are important to me through Facebook, instant messaging, or Skype.
Maybe when we move from microblogging to nanoblogging, I'll give it another try. ;o)
